Robert Myers

As Senior Director of OEM Accounts at ESS, Robert oversees automotive sales operations and customer account management for a range of the company’s OEM clients and business development prospects. A seasoned sales and marketing executive, he brings 30 years of experience in the global automotive industry, having worked with both Tier 1 suppliers and automakers. Before joining ESS, Robert spent 20 years at Harman International, most recently as Senior Director of Global Sales/Automotive OEM Accounts – where he led the integration of sales, marketing and product development teams to serve automotive clients across the U.S., Asia and Europe. During his tenure, he also led global sales teams in the UK, Japan, Korea and the U.S., and previously served as Senior Manager of Global Marketing, supporting a wide range of automaker OEM clients. Earlier in his career, Robert was Director of Lifestyle and Accessories for Indian Motorcycle Corp. and held progressively senior roles in accessory sales, product development, and sales and marketing at Land Rover. Robert holds a B.S. degree in General Sales, Merchandising and Marketing from CW Post College and a B.A. degree in Marketing from Syracuse University. In addition to his professional career, Robert serves as a Sergent First Class in the California Army Guard assigned to the 49th MP Support Detachment (Combat Readiness Senior NCO). He resides in Southern California with his family.
